Programme Objective: The broad programme objectives are-
- To develop comprehensive understanding on early childhood education and management;
- To understand the developmental needs of children from birth to six years of age;
- To undertake such professional practices related to different job roles in a crèche/day-care settings;
- To develop such skills in respect of multi-layered professionals for the crèche/day-care centres;
- To prepare business plans for running and managing crèche/day-care; and
- To acquire such professional skills required to become an early childhood entrepreneur.
Program outcomes of the course:
- To explain the necessity of early childhood education in the context of child development;
- To identify and narrate developmental needs of children from birth to six years of age;
- To demonstrate such professional practices required for different job roles in a crèche/day-care settings;
- To chalk out and execute business plans for running and managing crèche/day-care;
- To demonstrate as trained early childhood care professionals with better understanding on social equality, quality and excellence;
- To become entrepreneur for providing job opportunities to others in crèche/day-care centres; and
- To work as brand ambassador in the AUD's academic endeavour.

  - 25% weightage will be for Personal Interview
